Designed by Marcel Wanders Studio for Flos, the Skynest Motion Light evokes a poetic design language, combining formal elegance with technical innovation. Featuring an LED strip light source, Skynest is woven from textile tube, to create a sculptural form, alluding to the structure of an artisan basket. Blending the aesthetics of traditional craftsmanship with futurist technology, Skynest is essentially woven light, as the filament itself emits a soft and diffused light. 

This statement floor lamp appears to float in mid-air, with its barely-visible cable mounted to the ceiling, alongside the built-in balancing system at the top of the dome, ensuring it remains perfectly stable. Whilst the aluminium ring fitted on the underside of the diffuser keeps the entire network structure in place with a simple snap-fit system. With sustainability in mind, Skynest’s structure is crafted from recycled fabric. Dimmable for customised light ambience.
