Please see our Delivery page, which lists the charges that can apply to your order

4. Returns

For purchases made from 1–24 December, the returns period will extend up to the following month, ending on 31st January.

In line with the Distance Selling Regulations, Aria offer a 30-day returns policy. Except in the case of custom-made orders and other non-returnable items, if you receive your order and change your mind about it, just pack the items back up with the returns note that will be included in your delivery.

On the returns note, mark the returns reason, with a description if you can. Returns must be sent to:

Aria Returns
Barnsbury Hall
Barnsbury Street
Islington
London N1 1PN
T: 020 7704 1999

You have 30 days to return the item to us, from the date of dispatch of your order from us. You are responsible for ensuring the items and item packaging arrive in perfect and saleable condition. We recommend sending the returns with a signed-for service. When we receive the parcels back, we will check the items and if found to be in a good and saleable condition, we will refund the returned items via our online bank, within 14 days of receiving the returns.

We cannot refund delivery charges to or from you for items that you have decided against. Should you request the return of a large item, Aria can offer a quotation for collection, based on the size of the item - contact customerservice@ariashop.co.uk.

For reasons of hygiene, we cannot accept returns of items of custom-made items (such as upholstery), toiletries, jewellery, underwear or edible items.

5. Short Delivery, Defective or Damaged Goods

We strongly advise you to thoroughly check your goods upon receipt, as any discrepancies or damages must be reported within 48 hours to our team. Open and handle the items carefully, as we do not accept any claims for damage that you have caused yourself.

Please take photos of the items and packaging and, if you can, email these to customerservice@ariashop.co.uk, describing the problem. Hold onto any damaged items and the packaging until we collect them or ask you to dispose of them – our couriers may want to inspect the packaging if the items have arrived damaged.

6. Furniture Orders

Orders of furniture items that are made-to-order are not returnable. You will be contacted to inform you of any such items in your order.

Access Check

Large pieces of furniture, including sofas, tables and shelving units, are sold with the agreement that the item will fit into the customer’s chosen destination. and be suitable for your requirements. We strongly recommend you thoroughly measure your space before completing an order.

It is the customer’s responsibility to make sure that the items they are purchasing will fit through the access doors and corridors into the chosen room. Aria strongly recommends that an access check is made by our delivery team, to guarantee that the item is suitable for the space.

Access checks can be carried out within the London area, at a cost of £50. However, this cost will be refunded from the total of your order if the access check is successful. A successful access check guarantees that the item will fit, and if it does not, Aria will take back the item at no further cost to the customer.

If an access check is declined by the customer, or is outside of the London area and, upon delivery, the item does not fit into the property, Aria will keep 50% of the value of the item to cover the costs of delivery, return, and restocking of the item. The delivery team will inform the customer if the item does not fit, but if the customer then insists that a delivery attempt is made, Aria is not liable for damage to the item or the property, which occurs as a result. If damage does occur, Aria can seek to find a solution to repair the damage, but this will be at the customer’s cost.

If you are measuring for access, remember to account for any handrails, steps, door handles, etc., that may hinder the passage of the item. You should consider the diagonal measurement of the item, for accessing tight corners. Aria can provide you with the measurements of the item, taking into account the possibility for removing legs, cushions, etc.

Accepting Delivery

We, or our delivery company will contact you prior to making delivery, to arrange a convenient date or time for delivery to you.

If we attempt to make a delivery on the date/time slot that you have accepted and no one is present to receive the delivery, you will incur waiting charges in the case of a delay, or a repeat delivery charge equal to the delivery charge in your order. This repeat delivery charge must be paid prior to the redelivery. If the original delivery was free, then the applicable delivery charge for the size of item will be charged, based on the largest item in your order.

If your goods remain at our warehouse for more than four weeks, during which time you do not accept delivery/redelivery after having been contacted, you will incur storage charges of £20 per full or part week. If you fail to accept delivery Aria reserves the right to cancel your order and retain up to 50% of your order value.

7. In-Store Returns Policy

If you are purchasing directly in one of our stores, you can return an item to us within 7 days for a refund, or within 30 days for a credit note or exchange. The return must be accompanied by proof of purchase.

Any items sold with a sale price are sold as seen and not returnable.

Your statutory rights are not affected.
