La Dolce Vita: Made In Italy

The home of traditional craft and pioneering industrial design, Italy’s rich tapestry of making dates back centuries, with some of the most renowned designers in furniture, lighting and interiors hailing from the Italian peninsula. We’ve hand-selected our favourite new designs including iconic sofas by Paola Navone and reinvented retro icons by Anna Castelli Ferrieri.

In Kartell’s ongoing commitment to sustainability, the iconic Masters Chair and the A.I chair are now produced entirely with recycled thermoplastic, utilising waste material from industry. The newly launched update on the iconic A.I Chair designed by Philippe Starck for Kartell, features the same ergonomic seat with a more streamlined frame. Stackable for ease of storage the AI Lite chair is designed with artificial intelligence and crafted from recycled plastics.

Combining technology and creative thinking with sustainability in mind, the intention was to create a chair using the least amount of material necessary, whilst retaining optimum strength. Made from 100% recycled thermoplastic techno polymer, using waste material from production, the chair is available in a new range of colours, sitting perfectly in any contemporary dining room or office.
