Series 7 Chair, White

An enduring Danish design icon

Designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1955, the Series 7™ chair is an icon of modern furniture history. Its distinctive, sculptural shell brings character without overpowering a room, making it a natural choice for dining spaces, desks and considered hospitality interiors.

Strength in a slender form

The shell is made from nine layers of pressure-moulded, laminated veneer, creating strength, flexibility and durability within the chair’s remarkably light profile. Slim steel-tubed legs complement its curves and are discreetly mounted to a circular disc beneath the seat. Extending just beyond the edge of the shell, they allow chairs to be easily arranged in rows or stacked for storage.

White finish

White brings a clean, light-reflecting presence to the Series 7’s recognisable silhouette. Choose Coloured Ash for a lighter lacquer treatment that lets the wood grain show through, or Lacquered Veneer for a smooth, solid-colour finish created with additional coats of lacquer.

• Choose the standard 43cm seat height or the higher 46cm seat height
• Select chromed steel legs or a powder-coated leg finish
• Optional felt glides provide softer contact with hard floors
