Togo Large Sofa, Ltd Edition

Having established itself as the most iconic sofa in the history of design, the Togo celebrates its 50th anniversary this year and to mark the occasion, Ligne Roset have relaunched the collection in a limited-edition upholstery fabric. Manufactured by textile company Pierre Frey, “La Toile du Peintre” reimagines the classic Togo silhouette, in a vibrant artistic expression. The Large Sofa offers ample space to seat up to three people, with its ergonomic shape formed of five different densities of foam and its characteristic pleated seat-back offering the ultimate comfort. 

Designed by artist Heather Chontos, the “La Toile du Peintre” print, features a dynamic pattern of abstract forms with a spontaneous vigour. Energetic brushstrokes and graphic compositions come together to create an organic, painterly design. Whilst the colour selection of electric blues and deep reds, echoes a mid-century palette, with a new contemporary spirit.
