IC Floor Lamp, F1

The IC F1 Floor Lamp is one of Flos’ most iconic pieces – and it’s easy to understand why. Designed by Michael Anastassiades, it distils the entire IC collection down to its purest idea: a hand-blown opal glass sphere, balanced on the very tip of an ultra-thin floor-standing rod, as if caught mid-motion. At 135cm tall, it commands a room without filling it.

The IC collection was born from Anastassiades’ fascination with contact juggling – the art of spinning and balancing spheres across the body. That sense of suspended movement is present in every piece, but nowhere more so than the F1, where the sphere floats at eye level, casting a warm, diffused glow across the room.

The integrated dimmer lets you shift from bright task light to soft ambient mood in a single touch. A floor lamp that works as hard as it looks – equally at home beside a reading chair, anchoring a living room corner, or standing alone as a sculptural statement.
