Designed by Guillaume Delvigne for Ligne Roset, The Fragment Side Table, showcases material innovation with its terrazzo surface made from recycled shells. Perfectly placed at the end of a sofa, Fragments is designed to fit neatly next to a seat with the raised table top offering space to place drinks and snacks, whilst the lower shelf is perfect for storing magazines and books.
Istrenn is a new composite material, developed by Malàkio – a sustainable design company who specialise in recycling shells from human consumption, such as oysters, mussels and scallops, to transform them into eco-friendly objects and surfaces. The minerally-derived material provides a durable alternative to plastics, with a unique surface pattern, giving each table an authentic and unique character.
