Designed by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni for Flos in 1967, the Snoopy Table Lamp is one of the most recognisable lighting designs of the twentieth century. Named after the cartoon character whose silhouette it echoes, the Snoopy pairs an oversized enamelled steel and glass shade with a white Carrara marble base – a combination of industrial material and natural stone that feels as considered today as it did nearly sixty years ago.

The original colourway: gloss black shade, white marble base. An integrated dimmer on the base gives 0–100% light adjustment. A statement piece for a desk, console, or bedside table in any modern or contemporary interior.

Achille Castiglioni (1918–2002) is one of the most celebrated figures in twentieth-century Italian design. His work for Flos – including the Arco, Toio, and Snoopy – remains in continuous production and is held in the permanent collections of MoMA New York and the Triennale di Milano.
