Snoopy Table Lamp, Blue

Designed by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni for Flos in 1967, the Snoopy Table Lamp is one of the most recognisable lighting designs of the twentieth century. This version is finished in navy blue – a rich, considered colourway released by Flos in recent years that brings a new depth to the original design without altering a single line of it.

The oversized enamelled steel and glass shade is paired with a white Carrara marble base, and an integrated dimmer on the base gives 0–100% light adjustment. A statement piece for a desk, console, or bedside table in any modern or contemporary interior.

Achille Castiglioni (1918–2002) is one of the most celebrated figures in twentieth-century Italian design. His work for Flos – including the Arco, Toio, and Snoopy – remains in continuous production and is held in the permanent collections of MoMA New York and the Triennale di Milano.
