2017
A new journey begins
Aria returns to the high street where it originated by opening a second showroom on Upper Street in Islington. The second store features a more fashion-orientated collection of products and resides in an innovative new building, designed by Amin Taha architects.
2007
Recognition of excellence
Aria moves into the large, historic Barnsbury Hall in Islington. The atmospheric space, built as a local hall in 1858, still has some original features that contrast beautifully with the modern lines of contemporary furniture, homeware and cutting-edge products.
1989
A new name in town
Owners Pushpa Gulhane and David Smith decide to share their passion for design and sourcing unique product collections by opening their first store in London. In September 1989, Aria opens its doors to the public.
