The Pumpkin Collection by Pierre Paulin for Ligne Roset was originally designed in 1971 as a unique piece for the private residence of Claude & Georges Pompidou at the Elysée Palace. The range is now being reissued and manufactured by Ligne Roset for contemporary interiors. The Pumpkin Armchair is characteristic of Paulin's recognisable aesthetic with an emphasis on soft lines and curved forms. Paulin began developing this revolutionary style at the end of the 1950s, and as this collection’s name suggests, is evocative of a giant pumpkin, welcoming the user with its voluptuous form. Its minimal silhouette is enhanced by the segmented pattern of the upholstery.
This modern classic, is instantly updated for contemporary living spaces, upholstered in Steelcut Trio 3 fabric in light grey 105.
