The Egg Chair designed by Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen is a masterpiece of Danish design. This new edition has been launched in celebration of Fritz Hansen's 100th year anniversary. Jacobsen developed the perfectly curved silhouette for this luxury lounge chair in 1958, by experimenting with wire and plaster sculpture. Today, the Egg chair has established itself as one of the most recognisable chairs in Jacobsen’s legendary career and in the history of design. The enveloping seat stands on a black steel base with swivel function, offering the ultimate comfort and style. Upholstered in a tactile leather or wool fabric by Kvadrat.
