The Egg Chair designed by Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen is a masterpiece of Danish design. Jacobsen developed the perfectly curved silhouette for this luxury lounge chair in 1958, by experimenting with wire and plaster sculpture. Today, the Egg chair has established itself as one of the most recognisable chairs in Jacobsen’s legendary career and in the history of design.
