Ercol Windsor Dining Chair, Solid Ash

Part of The Ercol Collection, the Windsor Dining Chair is a symbol of mid-century modern design. Its elegant and recognisable form combines durability with a classic style. The rounded seat back features six vertical spindles, providing support and optimum comfort for dining.

Handcrafted in the UK, the Windsor Chair’s bow is steam bent from a single straight ash rail and shaped into an elegant profile. Constructed with the classic Windsor wedge joint, whereby the leg traverses directly through the seat and is reinforced by a wedge, forming a remarkably strong unity. This distinctive joint has become an integral element of the design. Strength is further reinforced by the H-underframe. Crafted from solid ash hardwood with a clear matte lacquer, highlighting the natural grain of the wood.

Made in England at the Ercol workshop. Due to the nature of wood, this piece will have unique characteristics in the grain, making each item individual. Please note that exposure to UV rays will alter the colour of natural wood over time
