The Saliscendi Light designed by Achille Castiglioni in 1957 has established itself as a true design icon. The striking pendant diffuser softly  emits light in a downward direction, making it well suited for installation in dining spaces. Crafted from metal, with a gloss finish Saliscendi combines the aesthetics of Italian industrial design with a retro feel. At the core of its design is the adjustable dual-emission metal lamp re-engineered with dimmable LED light sources. A luminous circular shade and reflective disc slide silently up and down the central cables. The two perpendicular elements allow for both direct or indirect light depending on the distance with which they are separated.

Materials: Metal body painted in a glossy  ruby red finish. PMMA two-tone reflecting parabolic diffuser: white on the interior and painted with the same finish as the lamp body on the exterior. Handle for raising/lowering the metal lamp. Metal wire casing, acetal resin (POM) pulleys, black support cables/conductors.

Light source: Double top LED 2700K dimmable light source, suitable for DALI or Push-Dim wiring.
