G10 Pierre Guariche Sofa

Designed in 1953 by Pierre Guariche for Ligne Roset, the G10 collection epitomises the mid-century modern style, whilst playing with the concept of modularity. Revolutionary for its time, the design features a unique fixing system which allows the armrests to be removed to create a scaled-up series of multiple adjoining seats or a panoramic settee. A new edition of this mid-century design classic, the new G10 is a statement sofa for any contemporary living space or for vintage design devotees. 

Its angular frame is crafted from plywood panels with a stained ash veneer, whilst the foam seat and back cushions contain quilting for optimum comfort. The seat has a slight slope, height 44 cm in the upper part, 38 cm in the lower part, whilst the use of elastic webbing in the back provides a perfect seating position.

Materials: Back composed of plywood panels clad with polyurethane foam and 110 g/m2 polyester quilting. Mechanically-soldered base in Epoxy black lacquer finish. Armrests in moulded beech plywood with stained ash veneer. Suspension of seat via elastic webbing. Seat and back are made of high resilience polyurethane Bultex foam with 110 g/m2 polyester quilting.
