The IC S2 Suspension Light designed by Michael Anastassiades for Flos is part of a collection which plays with the concept of balance in a contemporary lighting range.
The initial idea for the IC collection was inspired when Anastassiades watched a video clip of a contact juggler spinning spheres and moving them around his body, finally balancing on the tips of his fingers. Mesmerised by this movement and balance, Anastassiades wondered how it could translate into a design object and so began the development of the IC Collection.
The blown glass opal diffuser sits on a streamlined frame available in brushed brass with a transparent varnish, matte black, chrome steel or burgundy gloss red.
