The IC Table Lamp T1 Low was designed by Michael Anastassiades for Flos as part of a collection which plays with the concept of balance in a contemporary lighting range. The perfectly spherical diffuser is crafted from hand-blown glass and sits within a streamlined metal frame - available in a brass, chrome or matte black finish.
The IC collection was inspired when Anastassiades watched a video clip of a contact juggler spinning spheres and moving them around his body, finally balancing on the tips of his fingers. Mesmerised by this movement and balance, Anastassiades wondered how it could translate into a design object and so began the development of the IC Collection.
