Alberti Mirror

The Alberti mirror takes its name from a facade of the Cité du Design in Saint-Étienne – and at its heart, that architectural reference is made literal. Two lacquered glass panels and one mirrored glass panel are assembled to create a square in perspective, a trompe-l’œil geometry that evokes both modernist art and the rigour of contemporary architecture. Set within bronzed glass that casts a soft, delicately tinted reflection, and finished to just 2 cm deep, the Alberti is as much an artwork as a mirror – a piece that transforms the wall it inhabits.
