Designed by Michel Ducaroy and first released in 1971, the Marsala Armchair returns to the Ligne Roset collection with its inviting silhouette and distinctive curved shell. Generously cushioned seating and plush Ella velour upholstery make it a welcoming place to settle into a book or unwind.
Ella fabric
A plush velour fabric, composed of 52% recycled wool, 32% polyester, 12% cotton and 4% polyamide.
The images show the Lin colour.
Materials and comfort
A moulded okoume plywood shell with brown-stained beech veneer supports a seat and back made from high-resilience Bultex polyurethane foam.

About the designer
Michel Ducaroy trained at the École Nationale des Beaux-Arts in Lyon and worked with Ligne Roset across upholstery, contract furniture and youth ranges. His celebrated Togo remains one of the most recognisable silhouettes in twentieth-century furniture design.
