Created as part of Marimekko’s Artist in Residence programme, Daily Variations is a study in colour, rhythm and composition by Danish textile artist Vibeke Rohland. Her pared-back approach strips away the superfluous, allowing form, colour and contrast to take centre stage.

Bold stripes in green, pink and yellow interact in a dynamic composition, exploring the tension between harmony and contrast. Inspired by the changing light, sounds and rhythms of the day, the design brings a graphic sense of movement and contemporary colour to the home.
