Designed by Michel Ducaroy for Ligne Roset, the Marsala 3-seat sofa combines a distinctive curved shell with generously cushioned seating. Its enveloping silhouette offers an inviting place to stretch out or settle in together, while Soft Touch leather adds a warm, tactile finish.

Soft Touch leather

Soft Touch is 100% bull leather with a nubuck finish, lightly sanded on the grain side to create a fine, velvety nap. Soft and suede-like to the touch, its matte surface brings the natural character of the hide to the foreground. The colour shown is Gold.

Materials and comfort

A moulded okoume plywood shell with brown-stained beech veneer supports a seat and back made from high-resilience Bultex polyurethane foam.

About the designer

Michel Ducaroy trained at the École Nationale des Beaux-Arts in Lyon and worked with Ligne Roset across upholstery, contract furniture and youth ranges. His celebrated Togo remains one of the most recognisable silhouettes in twentieth-century furniture design.
