Night Owl Table Lamp, Ash

The Night Owl Table Lamp, designed by Nicholai Wiig Hansen for Fritz Hansen, references the form of a bird with its oval shade, emitting a warm Nordic light. The monochrome shade is combined with a conical base in natural ash wood, together forming a single unit of balanced proportions. This striking yet informal table lamp fits seamlessly into both contemporary and modern interiors, either in a living space or at the bedside, as a reading lamp.

The canopy shade, crafted from lacquered aluminium, casts a warm downward light, finished on the underside by a diffuser, which softens the light whilst preventing glare. With versatility at the core, the shade can be placed in four different positions, allowing the black cable to exit the lamp in the desired direction.

The Night Owl Table Lamp continues to reference nature with its solid natural ash base, developing a patina of its own over time, highlighting the textures of the wood grain. Available in two colours, a smoky white shade complements the ash wood base, whilst the midnight blue version creates contrast between the two elements.
