Description: The Ploum sette was designed for Ligne Roset by Erwan and Ronan Bouroullec. Contemporary, sleek and original, its generous seat and delicately textured surface results in a sofa that is as luxurious as it is stylish. Its nest like form, high back and curved edges make for an elegant and extremely cosy design; its freely-formed shape is stylish and affords the back, head and limbs the same soft contact. Comfort is reinforced by the nature of the fabric used: a double-layer quilted weave that is quilted by points of stitching. The Ploum seating range is the product of much research into comfort, resulting in a winning formula: it is crafted using ultra-soft foam that is covered with stretchable fabric that allows you to stay comfortable in any position. This combination, along with the sofas ample dimensions, accommodates different ways of sitting, stretching out or laying, without ever compromising on comfort. Constructed from steel tubing, wire and mesh with a covered base. 

Composition details: Integral seat in high resilience polyurethane Bultex foam 48 kg/m³ - 3.6 kPa; integral back in Bultex foam 36 kg/m³ - 1.4 kPa with comfort layer in hyperflexible polyurethane foam 30 kg/m³ - 1.8 kPa. Comfort is reinforced by the nature of the fabric used: a double-layer quilted weave, quilted by points of stitching. Items upholstered in Mood fabric have no diagonal stitching in the four inside corners of the seat / back section and have one zip closure on the rear of the back.
