Designed by Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen in 1958, the Swan Chair has a fluid, cocoon-like silhouette that feels as comfortable in a calm reading corner as it does around a considered living space. Its continuous curves create a sense of privacy without visual bulk, while the swivel base lets you turn naturally towards conversation, a view or a book.

Christianshavn is Fritz Hansen’s exclusive textile, designed in-house to complement the collection. Its timeless, tone-on-tone palette is intended to evolve as the range expands, bringing a quietly distinctive finish to the Swan’s expressive form.
