Originally designed by Pierre Guariche in 1963, the Vallée Blanche Chaise Longue has established itself as a true icon of Mid-Century design. This luxurious upholstered lounge chair was designed for the interior at La Plagne ski resort, in the French alps, and has since secured a place in the permanent design collection of the Centre Pompidou.
The re-edition by Ligne Roset fully respects the original design, an exercise in style with its seamless base and upholstery. Combining a subtly curved silhouette with a supremely-soft yet heavy duty stretch velvet upholstery, this iconic chaise invites the sitter to lay back and relax. The seat and back are padded with latex foam interior, whilst the aluminum base has a tilt mechanism allowing the angle of the seat to be adjusted.
Materials: Brilliant-chromed metal base. Seat in high resilience polyurethane Bultex foam. Gentle upholstery fabric: Wool 60%, Polyamide 20%, Polyester 20%
Dimensions: H70 x W70 x D152cm x Seat 22cm
